Waxing Jeep problem areas

I have some areas on my Jeep i usually tape off before using #21 or NXT because they collect wax and dust like nothing else.

After removing the tape is there anything I can put on the hinges and in the grooves to protect them without leaving gunk? I was planning on using my bottle of ICE for it, but it doesn't seem to stick around very long.

Hm.. You're probably applying the wax too thick, thus creating extra dust. Try to apply as thin as possible, enough to see the haze.

What about on application? The screw holes in the various hinges scoop it up. They're torx so not exactly qtip territory for cleaning.

In those areas, you can use a Q-tip to apply the wax.

Clean out excess with a china britsle paint brush.
