i have a 99 malibu that is an odd "Medium Sea Green Metallic". ive only washed, clayed, and waxed the car with NXT paste. I just got a PC today for xmas, and i have some optimum polish that i will be applying to remove light swirls/scratches. after that, what are some polishes or sealants that you would recommend for my cars color?

here is a picture of what the car looks like...its not mine though.

Once you have removed all the swirls the rest is mainly a matter of preference. With the right prep and techniques you could apply Turtle Wax and the car will look stunning.

polish it then wax it twice with Nxt 24 hrs apart. By the way that's not a malibu that you have that's an Olds Cutlass.

I'd probably go with a sealant over that color. Any quality sealant will look good if you polish the paint properly.

After the prep, as recommended above, I'd go with Poorboy's EX (x2), then Natty's Blue, to give it a nice glossy wet flinsh.

Proper paint prep is key. As stated above you could use Turtle Wax with the right prep.

I am partial to Zaino products. I use Z2P, Z5, Z6, Z7 and Z8. So far it has produced an amazing shine on my wifes dark blue Tahoe and my pearl white Lexus. There are a number of good products out there. Buy one or two at a time and experiment until you find something - or combination of things - that really makes your paint pop.

Most of all.....have fun :)

That is a color that I would say is on the darker scale vs being lighter. Because of this I would probably go on the carnauba route. AIO followed by Natty's Blue would be a very nice combo on that car. Echoing the others, having a good prep will set it over the top in terms of looks.
