Hi.

After polishing and waxing a car, after a few days on the paint appear some strange white residue like some scratches. It is easy to remove them but it's a anoying situation especially on a customer's car.

What do you know about this? I remember i read long time ago about some waxes that "cake"on rainy weather. Could this be my problem?

Yes, because I'm using only water to moist the pads. I use Awesome Gloss from Automagic which is a paint sealat. I leave it on the surface about 5 minutes.

try the finger test.

take a swipe at the wax with yoru finger, and if it comes out clean and clear, its ready to be taken off. if not. wait.

Awsome Gloss and high humidity don't mix very well. When they 1st introduced this product, they had alot of problems with it in humid environments. It use to be dark purple in color and and they later changed it to it current color. On humid days I'd either try their Paint Sealant or their Wet Wax or Banana Magic. You won't have this problem with those LSP's.

Thanks all, I will try that.

Humid days means if it is raining the day after waxing? Because I thought the paint sealant bond to surface in a few minutes.
