Wax or Sealant or Both?

Just posted about this on a very similar thread... Topping a sealant with wax can make it look better/different (on some paints/sealants, to some people) but it also prevents you from being able to layer on more sealant later. IMO that undercuts one of the primary reasons to use a sealant in the first place. If I want to see "the wax look" I just use wax. Otherwise I use a sealant. I've completely quit doing the "wax-topper" stuff.

I just about always put down a coat or two of sealant, then put some wax down a month or two later.

I take a similar viewpoint as Accum on this subject. I would much rather find a well rounded wax/sealant with most/all the characteristics I'm looking for rather than messing with additional steps. ....especially at this point in my life.
