argh. i am working on what is probably my final customer detail for the season (VERY glad i got to use ONR in my garage today vs. the hose outside when it's 38F!!!).
anyway, it's an 03 or 04 grand am...black. lots of swirls and such, but not that many actual scratches. i didn't think it would be a big deal, but upon closer inspection there is some kind of really thick, dark tan colored wax in nearly EVERY seam of every trim piece on the entire car.
i tried using my fingernail, but can't get far enough under the trim to remove it all. then tried a detailing brush and that marred up the paint badly...so i gave up on that.
the owner said "it's only been waxed once since i bought it".
any ideas for removing it w/out spending 3 hours with a toothpick?????
