looking for a comparison of durrability between NXT 2.0, #16, and XMT 180.

I think the nxt durability thing has been beat to death, but I havnt heard much about XMT.

How long do they keep beading water for? Which provides the best winter protection?

16 lasts a bit longer IMO, but the NXT has better filling properties

Not in my experience, at least not with the original version. Are they talking about v2.0?

I think they were saying that even with v1. Remember, the line was that NXT was protecting even after it lost beading. I guess v2 made the protecting aspect more obvious.

Maybe Mike P can chime in, even though he doesn't represent Megs anymore. :D

Leaving aside cynical comments about why meguiar's might say NXT lasts longer than #16 ;) The #16 lasts a lot longer IME.

NXT isn't *bad* stuff by any means, but for durability I can't imagine it beating #16.

Megs and Mike Philips state that NXT lasts longer than #16.

That's because they don't sell #16 anymore. Also, NXT streaks like a muther f'er I've found Mother's Synwax to be way better.
