Wax comparison !!

Ronkh

Wax Waster
Well as some people know, I try just about every new and "best" thing out there. So today I decided to try something new.

It's a 50/50 test of Natty's Blue and (ready for this)
Swisswax Smagard (best of show)

Process and stuff used.
Sprayed down with bug squash
rinsed
Sprayed with PB APC
To get ris of sap and lsp's (yeah i know, i'm lazy today)
Wheels done wth PB S&R
Wash 2b/m
PB slick suds
PB mitt
PB Sg mixed 70/30 with SW
Dried with PB WW micro
then PB Black Hole by flex using blue pad (not shown)

Car was pulled into garage to cool off and do the BOS. Now BOS was applied very lightly. Upon removal it dusted like crazy!!! It took 4 micros to get it off.

Other side was done with Natty's Blue.

Both had a brand new applicator.

Can you see a difference? Which is which?
The only thing that could possible skew the test is that I didn't allow the BOS to sit in the sun for the complete 3 hours, (i believe it was 2+)

Oh yeah, this was my wifes car, not mine.
She came out and said "nice".

I hope I don't have to re-do it tomorrow.

AND I DID TO THE WHEEL WELLS !!!!

Right when I saw the flakes I knew it had to be the wife's car. Lookin good Ron!:rockon I can't see the difference at all. Maybe your son's camera could make out a difference?:hmmm:

So far, the only diference I see is $255.00. And the Swisswax is gritty and dusts like crazy !

Car has been put to bed for today. Mebbe I'll wash it tomorrow. But I gotta do the 335 vert. It got bubblegum on the left rear quater, behind the wheel.

Yeah that's what I was gonna say the only difference is price. It seems like you can't win between the sap and now bubblegum:wall I bet Bug Squash would work on that gum. :) BTW, glad to see you are still doin the wheel wells:lol2:

Bug squash mebbe clay. I gotta peel some of it off by hand first. It's a big glob.

Sap is an everyday occurance now. But it comes off real easy. So it's an annoyance. Really aggrivation when I wash it and it gets crapped up the next day.

Gum removal, I use dry ice, then it comes right off. :D

Or sometimes you can use the "canned air" and spray it upside down to gain the liquid to freeze it, depending on the area it's on that can effect the result.

Was thinking about that.

Drivers rear quater is where it is.

Nice Ron but only one layer WTF.

So far. I gotta get all the cars ready for the beach. We rent a beach house every year (roght on the beach) So I want a fresh coat of something on the cars. I gotta come back every night to take care of dgos. But wife and 1 kid will be there 24/7. So it's a vacation for all of us. :yay
