Wax after aio/sg

Hello, new to the board; been lurking about recently.



Got a simple question to ask, would be great if someone could answer it within the day;



I started a complete detail on my car today, washed with dawn, clayed, Klasse AIO, SG.



What I'm wondering is, will Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid Wax (version 2) work fine for waxing on top? Apparently gold class is a cleaner wax, so would that strip off my hard work?

(unfortunately gold class is the only wax I have on hand at the moment)

Yes, you are correct, it would remove the Klasse underneath.

I recommend you keep going with the coats of SG (3 is usually the magic number for me), and give it a chance to knock your socks off. If then that is not the look you were wanting, then go to the local Harley shop, and pick up some S-100 wax, which has very little cleaners.
