Waterless Wash & The Water Police

Hey David,

I am planning to give HD Free a try soon and will get to HD Poxy once I use up some of my numerous sealants. Till then, is it OK to put sealants such as Ultima, Jeff Werkstat Acrylic Jett, Opti-Seal and Zaino on top of HD Free since it leaves a wax base? I know generally sealants have trouble bonding to wax so I wanted to make sure before hand.

In video number one David says he uses the fluffy side of the microfiber towels to clean and switches to the short nap side to polish.

On the website, the Microbuff towel's instructions state:

"For best results, fold the towel in quarters (fold in half, then fold in half again) and flip sides frequently. When using as a waterless wash towel, spray with HD FREE and wipe the dirty surface with the short nap side in one direction only (not back and forth). Once the surface is clean, flip towel to the soft, fluffy side to buff. Never wipe a dry, dirty surface or it will be scratched."

These seem to be in direct conflict as to which side to use for cleaning. What is correct? Thank you.

"Oh David, that's incredible!" haha!

Very nice videos David, very tempting to make me order the kit too.

I have a question and sorry if this has been answered, how does the Waterless wash compare with so many quick detailers and waterless washes our there?

ONR, Meg's Last Touch, DP 4 in 1, just to name a few...
