Water Tank low psi needed!

Unsure if this is the right section to make this post but here is my question:



I am setting up an enclosed trailer for mobile detailing and I'm trying to setup my water tank



I have a 125 Gal horizontal legged water tank - I need enough psi to run water out of the tank and to push out of a hose nozzle on the end of my air hose reel. I'm not using a pressure washer, just need enough power to use a hose nozle.



Advice would be greatly appreciated!

Are you going to be using a generator or only your 12v system on your vehicle? Or are you going to be using the customer's power?



I nee to know this so I can show you a 12v pump or 120v pump.

I will be using a 4000 Watt Champion portable Generator, and possibly customers power when available.



and luckily there is a Northern Tool down the street from me!

No problem bro. I'm here to help in any way.

Try that pump out. If it doesn't do what you want, then take it back. I'm sure it will though.

I'm not trying to discourage you but I went this same route. I ended up going to a gas pressure washer.

What's your plans for your setup? What type of washes?
 
I agree with Justin, you will work faster and easier, get better results and use less water with a pressure washer. It's well worth the small investment.

Thank you for your advice, The thing is I'm detailing motorcycles only so I would need a low psi - Thoughts?

Justin this may be a good idea for my planned mobile short term setup but which 120V pump would work that I could plug in to generator with or without pressure washer

Depending on your area and chemicals used, this can be done with this low power set up.

Just remember that these pumps go off of gallons per minute. My power washer is 3.0 gallons and has air in the mix. These units will use a lot of water fast.

I picked up a 26 gallon one for an extra $10 = $149. I'm going to try this out for I'm really only detailing a couple bikes a day. This was way more in my budget! Thanks IC3DT3 for the assist!

haha yup 15 min driver from my place. This will be going in my 6x10 enclosed trailer. I will be doing a write up on my trailer, putting it together later this month!
