Q: black vehicle retains water spots caused by golf course irrigation system during very hot & sunny day.

soap & water, wax nor clay would remove- Porter Cable wouldn't do job either.

A:?
Thanks

Try using vinegar. Soak a dish towel with vinegar and lay that on top of the waterspots. The acid in the vinegar should clean up the calcium deposits left by the sprinklers. Depending on how long they were on the car there may be some etching that needs to be polished off. You say the Porter Cable didn't work. What pad and polish were you using with it. The PC itself isn't going to remove anything. You need the right combination of pad and polish too.

used the orange lite cutting pad w/Adam's finish wax-did I misque?

trying the vinegar soaked microfiber...

thank you

Might want to check with there grounds crew , because some golf courses inject fertilizer into there irrigation systems.

The pad was OK but you need a polish not a wax.....polish has a cutting agent to take off the spots....I would give the vinegar a try to start then polsih right after, then wax, using the PC with a finishing pad and your Adams wax
