Water spots on ss Rocker Panels

cwcad

New Normal
Spent a good portion of my day working on my o3 Silverado to get it in shape for the winter. Took my time using PC 7424 and appropriate pads in this process. SSR 2.5. FPll,

FTG, and butter wax.

The paint on the vehicle looks very good but the rocker panels are still etched with water spats that i am unable to get out.

Used ISA wipedown, AIO, clay and lube, wheel cleaner with a brush, and a lot of elbow grease. the spots are diminished but they are still there. I am at a loss.

Would I ruin the stainless steele if i got some steele wool to try and get the spots off?

Pleasehelp with my dilema! Am willing to try anything to get the rocker panels back into shape.

Cannot find my camera at the moment so I cannot post pictures at this time.

What did you apply the AIO with?

I've gotten some real nasty water spots off with a 4" orange pad on a Wolfgang Polishin' Pal and AIO.

Maybe try wiping with vinegar?

Believe it or not i just got back in the house from trying vinegar. It did not even phase the rocker panel that has had nothing done to it, yet. It did not do anything for the processed rocker panel either.

I used LCyellow pad with the AIO. I used a yellow tufted pad I got from Top of the Line with SSR 2.5. I used my orange pad with FPll. I used a LC white pad with FTG. I used a LC blue pad with Butterwax.

I do not have anything in the house that is more abrassive than SSR 2.5. I guess tomorrow I will break out the wool pad and see if SSR 2.5 will make a difference.

Claying did not make any difference either.
