:nervous2: will this damage my extractor, im still under the one year warranty. Im just going to thaw it out in my house with the heater on. Has this ever happened to you guys, also my nomad and my vx5000 froze. Haven't detailed in a month or so, this stuff was just sitting in my garage.

Don't forget to empty them out after each use from now on. Good time to run some vinegar thru your extractor, then flush with water. On your VX5000 steamer, I think they say to let some vinegar sit in the tank overnight, then drain and rinse the next day.

You should be ok. But I bring mine in just before the weather starts to drop into the freezing temps. Plus I always empty when done .

Usually the damage is done to the ceramic heating element. It basically will crack under the stress of the expanding water when it freezes. Hopefully in your case that did not occur.

Ok, I tested it out and it seems to work normal. Water heated up real hot, pump sprayed smoothly didn't notice any leaks. Turned on the vac also and everything worked great! hopefully nothing got damaged. It must have been out in really cold weather for about a week or two.
