Water Collection

I am looking at going moble in Calgary, Alberta as there are none at this time. As i have ranted about in past threads we are not aloud to let soap go down the sewer, however we can let it go down out home drains as they are treated. My question is does anyone know a good company or website to order a recollection system from? I have searched the net and only found 2 both from the same site. Thankx for the help

Here is an option that you can do as I did. I went to my local hardware store and purchased a heavy duty tarp. I then made some slots on all the edges to put some foam strips in to basically make a levy. I then park the car on the tarp and wash it. When I am done I reclaim the water with my shop vac. In my area we have 2 kinds of drains, one that flows to the streams (marked on the drain itself) and one that flows to the sewer. so I am allowed to dispose of the water in the one that goes to the sewer.

I hope this helps.

Thats a really good idea thank you. So what id you use to make the sides? also was it a 2 ply tarp or? sry im just trying to figure out how to do this i like the idea

I have a 1 ply tarp (probably would recommend a 2ply for repetitive use) For the sides I am currently using some Pipe wrap (foam) from Home Depot in the plumbling and insulation area. Another thing that I have though about using for the sides is those water floating things that kids use as they are more dense and a bit larger than the insulation stuff that I am using.

Check out the Vacuboom system.

Vacuboom

The vacuboom system starts about $1700 USD and goes up depending on the options. Vacubooms can be found used for less money, just look around.
