Washing Microfibers in the washer...is it safe?

We just bought a new washer and dryer, and I was wondering if washing my microfibers in the washer is washer friendly...?? Do the microfibers collect enough wax/product in them that they might actually damage the washer? Any help would be greatly appreciated, btw, I'm only washing the microfibers that I use to take off wax/polish, clean the interior with, and the microfibers that I use to clean the glass...

I cant imagine washing them any other way! They're perfectly safe for washing in a new machine, matter of fact, Im envious! If you should have some that you've used for heavy cleaning/degreasing, presoak in a bucket first so you dont get the wife upset, then dump the water down the toilet........

Microfiber towels were meant to be machine washed! Don't be afraid, just use a light liquid detergent to clean them, such as Woolite.

Eh, I just tried to wash an MF that I used on some dirty leather, didn't come out clean. Any suggestions?

i use liquid tide in warm water with a scoop of oxyclean, and then on the last rinse cycle i add vinegar (helps rid excess detergent and revives them). finally, off they go into the dryer with NO fabric softner/dryer sheet on the lowest heat setting...

I wash all of my MF products together in one small load with nothing else. MF towels, wash mit, and applicators. I use Sonus Det Wunder Wash instead of detergent...warm wash, cold rinse. I then put them in the dryer on low heat. I do this so that I don't get any other (scratchy) fibers into my MF, and I don't get any chemicals mixed into my clothes.

Everything (including washer and dryer) stays clean, and it keeps wifey happy when I do it this way.

I've got some that are discolored but are still clean after washing....

They don't stay looking new if you use them very much.......:D

Hot water, regular clothes detergent. No bleach (Well, I do every now and then, just to dissinfect), no fabric softener in wash or dry. Dry on medium heat, remove while still damp.
