Washing buffing pads?

Which is the best way to clean buffing pads for re-use or should that not be a common practice?

I use Meguiars Foam Pads on my PC and on my Dewalt.
 
I'd rec doing a seach since there was a recent discussion of it.
I use Sunlight soap and good pad cleaning tools. Once in a while, I put them in the washing machine (not the wool ones of course, and not my Farecla kit, just the Edge foam pads).
 
I use Meg's pad as well and I tried cleaning my for the 1st time. I placed one in a bucket of hot water and some dawn, mixed it all around to get nice and soapy and I let the pad soak for about a half hour periodically pull the pad and squeezing it, then soaked it. After soaking I pulled the pad out rinsed it out thoroughly and let air dry. Cleaned up quiet well aside from the stain left behind from the SSR.
