Wash mitts from Costco & MFs from Zellers

I got one good deal and one not so good deal. I bought the wash mitts at Costco for Cdn $16.69 and that is the good deal. There are two lambskin mitts with "sort of" thumbs. Really soft. There's a black lambskin/bug scrubber mitt. One side is lambskin and the other side is covered in that bug scrubber mesh that you find on the squeegees at gas stations. I won't be using that side for anything but windows.



The fourth mitt is chenille. It says "Double-faced with fluffy, 100% chenille material." And, "Layer of foam inside lining holds lots of shampoo for longer and more effective washing." I'll have to see how that foam works out. I did a burn test on the one of the chenille strands and it doesn't seem to be 100% cotton. I did a CD test and couldn't put any scratches on the CD. It is a very soft mitt.

I saw that set in costco on Friday! I am going to get a package tomorrow. That black mit would be good for wheelwells also.:)
 
My computer froze up while I was making a second post. For now I'm going to try to post a picture of the packaging the mitts came in. Then I will make the post about the not so good deal. I hope I don't have to reboot the computer in between :(
 
Here's the info on the not so good deal. I found a package of four microfibre cloths for just under Cdn $11.00. There are three in terry cloth and one for eye glasses. They were in the house cleaning section of Zellers. They are not very plush; they don't pass the CD test; and they come in wussy pastel colours. The brand name is Supertek.



I will use them in the house, on glass, on the inside of the car and for the engine compartment. Figured I should warn any other, particularly Canadian, Autopians not to bother.

Funny you should mention costco. I was in there the other day and i bought the same mitts I think. I did not get a white mitt, all the mitts were skin. I paid around 20.00 (i think).



I also got some turtle wax gold series wash for 4.99 1 1/4gallons.



The one thing that was way to high in costco was the water blade, they wanted over 14.00 for one. I have bought them in the past for 9.99.
