Voodoo Ride

I was at the Nascar race at Bristol this past weekend and I was at the Dale Jr. trailer and they had a few items with the text VooDoo Ride. So I asked about it and they told me it was a new car care product line being released by dale Jr. So I did a search and found the website and was wondering if anyone had seen this new product line and what they think of it. :nixweiss

At least he didn't come out with his own cologne like other celebs. LOL

I had some Jeff Gorden cologne that smelled pretty good. LOL.

The products themselves are packaged cool and I think they will probably do what they are suppose to but I don't think he has a big enough line to handle everything a car may have. I didn't see anything for chrome and he had no wax, just a polish. I don't see how just a polish helps unless he doesn't know the difference between a wax and polish.

The people that will be buying that line call waxing polishing anyway. LOL You always have those people that "polish" their car with paste wax or come to the detailer for a polish when they really mean wax.

I don't mind more brands of detailing supplies as long as they are a quality product. Unfortunately a lot of things out there don't work or worse do more harm than good.

Don't you hate that? I get asked from clients "why is it so expensive to polish my car?" and I'm like "huh?" After some more questions, I am then explaining what the difference is between a polish and a wax.

Voodoo Ride

WOW did you see how easy it removed the bug and the tar from the surfaces? I'm sold. :chuckle: Too bad that price is outrageous!

I give it as much time on the market as the Nascar products that are now found at Big Lots.

Who's got my mojo baby........ ?

I like little E, I hope he wins a few this year, looks like he has decent equipment finally and we can all see that he can drive - just needs a win to build up the old confidence. And yeah, my wife bought me the Jeff Gordon colonge - not bad, asked her why she didn't the JG Tag Haer watch - got that "look" so I just let it go.

Just saw some of these Voodoo products available at Walmart.

Always curious, any updates on any of the Voodoo products?

Had anyone tried their products and what were your thoughts?

I have tried the mojo and its awesome. wipes off easy and leaves the surface smooth. I have also tried the hyped tire shine. i didnt care for the tire shine over my usual stuff (Optimum Opti bond or Megs endurance), but it was ok after wiped.

Saw it in Walmart as well, was going to create a thread asking about it but found this... so I guess only one person has tried the spray detailer?

I think the AIO polish was about $15 in Canada. Probably worth buying to try out.

I must say, the packaging looks nice on the shelves, but the product information is a joke "provides a RUTHLESS barrier of protection".

LOL @ "ruthless"
