VM by machine = saved the trim

This past week I have been tinkering with a T series falcon sedan (high sixty grand) when new $AUD

The top vinyl trim on the doors was unchanged when I tryed all the clearkote mooses by hand so while finishing machine buffing with menzerna and then VM and RMG, I tryed to save the trim with VM using an edge classic blue 8 inch pad (all i had) and then RMG with a white pad using 600-1000 rpm with my makita 9227 rotary

Well the results were outstanding. It turned them from white to black again and then I returned to hand application with autoglym 07B , optimum PP and sonus tire gel

I let the sonus sit on the trim for a couple hours to soak in and softly removed any excess with a soft MF

The finished product is amazing. Sorry I have no pics

I have not yet tryed poorboys trim restorer by hand or machine

So if you have not tryed VM/ROTARY, have a go sometime.

Oh I forgot, I clayed with blue clay magic bar and evercoat clay lube before using the rotary

I always do this with plastic and vinyl trim, seems to soften them just a tad as well as make them very smooth
