Vinyl Install Q?

A buddy of mine is pulling some vinyl off to put some new stuff on. I'm going to polish and wax his truck in between this. I'm wondering if I shouldn't wax the area he's putting new vinyl on?



For reference, this is the old sticker, just getting a different color and making an adjustment.

You can polish and wax the area. But, even if you don;t wax the area, you are going to want to prep it using a product like Prep Sol or alcohol.

Wouldn't it just be wise to polish, isp wipe, apply stickers then wax over everything when done?

I am sure nothing but the most oily of products would have an impact. On superstition alone I would still put mine on a freshly stripped then buffed/polished surface.

I wouldn't wax it. I would polish the area and then clean the area very well with IA before applying the vinyl.



Wax the area after application.
