Viking Coat Follow UP Part 2

I just wanted to clarify the comment I made about the fall off I saw on the Viking Coat as well as share pictures since I got quite a few Private messages as if the coating was gone. It is NOT gone.

It is still very much there, and it still looks amazing. It should, its 2 Months old. What I observed was that the tightness of the beads and the ability for the stuck on dirt to be hosed off effortlessly on horizontal surfaces to be slightly not as high performing as I expected. I am used to 90-95% of the surface dirt and grime hosing off the car. I am used to tiny tight little beads. I called that a fall off in performance not a fall off on the coating. The vertical panels are perfect as well.

I got home from work early and decided to wash the car Wednesday, we had a sever rain storm Tuesday and the car was really dirty, I had a long drive Tuesday to upstate NY. I washed the car with reset and I think that helped the beading a bit. I guess these coatings (all of them) can get gunked up especially the roads and areas I travel. After washing it, I decided to apply the Polish Angel White Alabaster Spray I had on hand to the roof and rear trunk lid. I decided the leave the balance of the car raw Viking coat Just for comparison.

I dried the car with the MasterBlaster and the 8HP. I then sprayed the Roof with the White Alabaster and the trunk lid.

After the wash, I took the wife out for a few waterside drinks and some lite bites before I needed to pick my son up at the train at 9:15.

You guessed it, all that work and boob a pop up shower. Good thing wax does not need to cure. Below are the pictures of the coating and White Alabaster doing its thing.

Next 3 pics are Roof w/White Alabaster after rain stopped and before I drove the car to the train

Whatever my opinion is or is not, the facts are:

1. Polish Angel Produts are super easy to apply
2. I don't baby my car it is driven hard and left outside 24x7 all year, in fact next week I have a 3 day approx. 800-900 Mile road trip planned.
3. Polish Angel Viking Coat is one of the best looking Coatings I have ever used and I get more compliments on this than any other coating I have ever used. it really makes the pearl pop. Click Pic below for the proof.

4. It is forgiving, neither the polish or the coating stain trim. both remove easily
5. No fear of High spots as the set up time is extremely long.
6. Viking coat can be applied by DA (1st coat) and that's a pleasure second coat by hand.

I hope this give you a better idea of what Viking Coat is all about.

It's a shame with coatings that you have yo pay for a topper as well, it seems to make the cost that much higher, and I'm a fan of coatings too.

I really dislike topping coatings. The expense aside I hate the added step. I never topped exo and I never topped opticoat and I won't top the 22ple I recently applied.

I topped this Viking coat to see what's it's all about. It was not a lot of work. Not more than the touch up drying I do after I blow it dry.

It looks out of this world IMHO so you need to weight the cost benefit. In my younger days I might not mind it too much but with a few cars to care for its a whole new ballgame.

To me I also suspect the toppers are a way for a company to keep the stream of income coming while we enjoy added durability. .?

Absolutely is their way of lining their pockets imo.
