We have tested Fade to New on many different types of plastic (including many oxidized 'junkyard' plastic parts). It has no black pigments,dyes, or silicones, and restores all colors of plastic. Typical durability is 12+ months. Fade to New works by penetrating plastic and chemically bonding at the molecular level.
Durability Testing: This video was taken approximately 3 hours after application (initial curing period is 2 hours). Fade to New held up great after a liberal spray of degreaser (evident by the beading and no discernible change in color).
