Victory Red '06 Silverado 2500HD

...Dreaming on an E92....
Today was the first beautiful day us Northern CA boys have sen in about 3 weeks, so I took advantage of it and cleaned up my dads new HD. I just love this color, we've got an '00 CCLB in the driveway that's the same color, it's in need of some TLC...

I slapped some Presta Hand Glaze on and then some Autopride Longevity. I think I've got about 5 coats of it on the truck now :D

Trim/ fenderwells, undercarraige (can't really tell though) was all dressed with P&S Shine-All, tires were dressed with Megs Hot Shine (first time using it, I have to say I like it), windows/chrome cleaned with IG

My usual "so-so" pictures...

The first three pics were taken at my old high school. I was there for less than 10 minutes and had 4 people walk up to comment on how clean the truck is. The second two were at a construction site across the street from the school, and some of you might recognize the last three from my 'hood.
Overall, I'm happy with the results.

Good Job. Where in Nor Cal are you? I hear ya on the nice weather. Only thing is it is slated to begin raining again either tomorrow or Tuesday. This whole nice for one and a half days then back to rain is really getting on my nerves.

Thanks everyone!

Crazy- The camera likes to pick up this color as orange in direct sunlight. I thought it was the camera, but I tried my sisters digicam and it did the same thing. There's orange in the basecoat, so there ya go

Richard- I'm in Santa Rosa, and I too am tired of this horrible weather we've been having. What really sucks is that it's race season for us, and we've gotten rained out for both test days. The track isn't an issue dince we race on dirt, it's the pits. At the local track the pits get horrible as soon as water hits the ground. It's some sort of granulated adobe I think, it really sucks all the time...

Yep, I'm pretty sure that's the stuff. We race at Petaluma mainly, we started ou in the Spec class at Antioch, the pits are hard packed there.

Not to hijack my own thread, but here's a picture of this season's car. I've got updated ones with the graphics and everything, but they're actual pictures, none on the digicam :(
