I recently purchased a 1998 Honda Accord with my car the owner decided to leave me Vent Shades. Well since we have had 50+ weather here today I made an attempt to remove them. I used GOO Gone, and a Razor Blade. I can't seem to get anywhere with this. Please help me out.

Use a heat tool. A hair dryer works too, but I prefer a heat gun. Anyway, the heat will soften the adhesive and you will probably be able to just peel and rub it off with your finger.

looks like you have a foam backing from the shades is that right? I would work that off with Goo Gone that helps to soften up the foam and with rubbing it will take it off...Also a heat gun or blow dryer will soften it up.. the Goo Gone should also lift and clean up the glue...if not then I recently removed a pin stripe on a 25 year old BMW with 3M adhesive remover that really worked like a charm, you can get this online or at your local auto paint store I would imagine

A trick to use for the next time. Use fishing line.

Think of it as big dental floss. The plastic line will slice very close to the paint without harming it. That way you can concentrate on the residue instead of trying to get rid of the bulk. Works well for de-badging cars as well.

well us pro-detailers :

Tip 1 pull the visor stright Down
Tip 2 Buy a Sticker Eraser goes on a drill... that one tool has lasted me over 3 years.. takes stickers and 3m tape off with no problem, you can buy them at body paint shops

That's is that rubber wheel right....I have one, but never knew the name...LOL

I had to remove some on my car a few years ago. Heat gun and rub with your thumb. Got a blister or two........

Yeah, I rebuilt a vehicle last year and I had some of the plastic molding that looks like normal metal on the vehicle but its held on by that stuff. I had to actually take a razor blade and slice it off little by little so I could put new stuff over after we painted the vehicle. It was a PITA.
