Hey guys, I just bought a different pickup and the guy must have lived on a farm. When I turn the heat/air blower on it smells like cow sh**.

I am very simply just wondering what I need to use to get rid of this, Thanks!

BTW: I have already changed the cabin air filter

do you have access to a steamer? If so use the steamer down each of the vents. It helps tremendously on getting the smell to go away. Then something with malodor control should take care of the rest.

No I dont have access to a steamer. I was thinking about something along the lines of what AeroCleanse said. Some kind of fogger or liquid. I just would like to know what actually works..has anyone used any product of the sort?

Find the A/C condenser drain tube. Using a sharp jet of water, spray about 1/2 gallon up there.

You will be amazed at the crud that flows out if that thing is clogged. Check to see if that truck has a cowl drain tube as well, all sorts of funny odors can pop up when those get clogged.

If you need help locating those things, I have access to Alldata and may be able to help you track them down.

It wouldn't hurt to know exactly where it is before I start looking. I know the general locations though. The smell is mostly from when I first turn it on, then I kind of goes away. Does that narrow down the problem at all?

Always liked the smell of cow manure, at least over that of pig $hit. But if your picky, the Klima-Clean is a good choice.
