This was my first experience with Optimum No-Rinse, aka "ONR." I've read quite a bit about it, and was looking forward to trying it. Needless to say, I was absolutely THRILLED with it. I washed the entire truck, with 3 gallons of water. Three. :O

When the truck was dropped off, it was COVERED in bug guts, dirt, mud, scratches, and yes, that's diesel on the side.

Even though it was clean, the surface was trashed, and felt like 600 grit sandpaper... here's the most aggressive claybar Meguiar's makes, after just the hood.

Fixed. ;)

11 hours. Did it really *need* that many passes? Probably not, but that GM clearcoat is so brutal to work with, that I wanted to make sure I got all of it.

Looks great!!!!

I'm really thinking about trying this ONR stuff, so it was even practical for that dirty of a truck? I'm just worried that I'm going to get into something where I'm just rubbing dirt around.
