I honestly can't say that I've had a black car that was so responsive, and receptive to paint correction. This is by far, one of my best corrections, and I was thrilled to see it under the lights after it was done. I absolutely think that black, on this car, is the best color for it. It looks so sinister. :D

looking good man. Very nice work. Those blacks are sick because they are metallic =)

when you took off the wing did it have a gasket or double sided tape on it?

How did you manage to get that off?

Nope, no gasket, no tape, nothing. Those outlines on the trunk are from where the wing has dug itself into the paint. They don't come out.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. The only pics I have, are what is posted. I get to go to Menard's next week when I get back from vacation this weekend, to get new bulbs for my halogens. Had a nasty power surge rip through, and popped both of them. One is shattered. :(

Looks great! Nice job. Apparently the owner had a fix-it-ticket?

Great work! I agree that the Dodge metallic black does look great once it's polished

I wouldn't think he would have a fix it ticket for the tint since it's legal on the front windows in Illinois now.

Correct. The owner's son had put 5% all around. 35% all around is the legal limit in IL. Also, he got the license plate ticket pulling into my driveway. Johnny Law followed him right into my driveway.

Looks Great....but Why Wd-40 On The Engine Compartment?......

I get this question a lot on here. I picked it up from an old guy at the Goodguys Hot Rod Show in Jacksonville, FL, back in 2006. After you've washed the engine, and introduced a cleaning agent like Simple Green, and a bunch of water, the sensors are liable to crap out. So, after you use a leaf blower to get the engine dry, you spray WD40 on the whole engine bay basically, and not only does it dress the plastic bits, but it wicks away water, and protects everything under the hood from dust, corrosion, etc. Contrary to popular myth, it doesn't eat away at the rubber hoses and lines.
