Vacuum for car interior

Looking for something that is preferably small enough to keep in vehicle and powerful enough to do a good job cleaning. Also would be nice if it plugged into 12v jack on vehicle.
 
Wife got one those cordless Dyson's for the house I saw online they make a kit for it with a small hose and attachments. I ordered that to try cordless hand held with short flexible hose should make it easy and quick to use. Even if it isn't that strong will be nice for quick vac for just drivers side or front seats in between full interior details.
 
This thread reminded me I needed to replace my cordless Dyson which is junk. I hate it. Bought a Metro Vac and it's far superior (not cordless but it has a nice long cord). First impression is that it is really nice and of high quality.
 
Mine doesn't use a 12v adapter but with a good extension cord can be used from always away. It's a mastercraft 4.5hp shop vac. Got it for $50 on sale and works wonders. Never tried metro but I have heard great things. I have used other handheld vacs that plugin into a 12v car outlet... Once I used the shop vac, never going back!
 
Agree, Metrovac is the way to go. I have owned the Metro Stainless Steel Compact Canister Vacuum for a few years now and could not be more happy. It came with many different attachments that work great to clean the inside of a vehicle.

I was walking thru Lowes today & saw that Shop Vac has a small vacuum that goes on top of a 5 gallon bucket. Looked cool. Don't know how it works. Cheap enough to give one a try at 22.00$
