uv absorbers

I'm not sure about this one. I would think as long as the was/sealant is on and in good shape, the UV absorbing/blocking properties would still be there as well.
 
They typically do because they are synthetic (at least in Adam's Polishes Butter Wax). Also, their VRT for vinyl, rubber, and tires has SPF 65 into it, so no fading or cracking there. It's also water-based, so totally safe. Non-greasy and dries to the touch as well.
