UTTGP attracts everything, any way to avoid it?

Have any of you all figued out any easy way of keeping Ulitma Tire and Trim Guard Plus from attracting everything to it that comes in contact? I like the way it looks and holds up on my plastic trim, but it pisses me off that whenever I apply it little bugs the land on the trim get stuck on it becuase of the UTTGP. Trying to wipe them off only smears them in and makes it look like a mess. I applied it as thin as I could and wiped any excess, and everything still wants to stick to the trim. Besides washing, has anyone figued out a way to keep the stickyness down with this product?

sounds like you are putting on way too much product. I have never had this issue even with my tyres. When you are finished with the application the product should be almost dry to the touch.

Try buffing it out with a dry cloth.

good advice. a little goes a long way.

Same thing happens to me. Will be fine after next wash and will last for months after that. Well worth the minor hassle.
