Using WAUD over sealants and waxes

Do you think it matters if this product gets used over a polymer or a carnauba topper? The back of WAUD says that it contains polymers and waxes, which means that it contains polymers and carnauba ingredients?

I haven't noticed any differences between use on carnuba or a sealant. I have used WAUD on both (black) a few times and did not experience any variables esthetically or to the touch. I am not really using it for protection so I have not paid much attention in the dept.

" A special blend of water-reactive polymers & waxes provides that just waxed look in one simple . . . "

I don't know about carnuba waxes, someone else may have more insight.

I have used it over Klasse, EX-P, WG, NXT, S100 and PS - nothing noticably different between any of them. Although I have stopped using this product as it is gumming up my WW MF - lucky I used WAUD exclusively with one towel. Doesnt seem to want to clean and has become "water-proof" ( and I have tried a lot of methods to clean it ), but on the up side a coat of wax or sealant is generally a 20 minutes job anyways.....

I've heard other people experience this too. Hmm... I never have though. I wonder why some people have this problem and others don't?

You know, I have never used WAUD before using my WW. I do have a fairly large car (4Runner) and after letting an open-ended hose run over the top of the SUV I don't have much water left on the surface. I then walk along one side and "fan" spray maybe 4 or 5 full squeezes and wipe with a plush MF until evaporated. It has always worked well for me.

I have not experienced the "water-repelling" effect on the MF's I have used it with. I can usually dry my 4Runner with one or two plushies and by the end they are at the minimum pretty damp. I throw all my used MF in a 5 galllon where they stay damp until I wash them, always same day. The fact that they do not get a chance to dry out could be a reason they stay thirsty after WAUD :dunno

Mine get thrown into a bucket of woolite or dawn and warm water as soon as I am done with them. I clean them straight away after I have finished detailing my car, so the towel never dries out as you said. *shrugs* why this happens to me and not everyone else ( I believe Corey from Autopia gets this as well ) I dont know? All I know is that its just as easy to slap another coat of wax or sealant on it, so my mate now uses the WAUD. So at the end of the day its no biggie to me, I will just use something else. Lifes to short to get hung up on something so trivial - doesnt work, move on and try something else. Simple :)
