Using the Bissell LGM - Video Demonstrations

I live on YouTube and yet I never see any Bissell LGM videos for auto detailing. I know a lot of people would be less hesitant to buy one if they could see it in action. So I made a few videos. First one is me talking about it, so I won't say much here. Second video shows how I get around the drawbacks of how weak of an extractor it is.

More videos to come, but keep an eye on my YouTube page for them.

IMHO, I would not get this for a business other than quick spot treatments. I wouldn't want to break out even the Mytee Lite to get out a spot, but I can't justify spending $400 on Mytee's spotter either. But, if you're an at home detailer, even though the LGM is not designed for heavy use, it can still get done what needs to be done. Just don't expect it to save you too much time.

The text didn't show up too well in this video, but I want to state that I know some may think I'm using too much product. The APC is heavily diluted. I poured in what I had left in my regular trigger bottle which is 10:1 diluted and added about 1/4 more water. When I use the continuous sprayer I dilute the chemicals more because I will end up spraying more. I really only use it for carpets and engines when you do a lot of spraying.

I use this method when I can because it saves A LOT of time over using the LGM alone to rinse.

I just created another one before bedtime. This is my own car. I own an M3 and got tired of paying for premium gas and filling up every 5 days on just going to/from work! So I bought this beater to save gas (averaging $100/month savings!). It stinks, it's gross and I swear I get headaches from the thing. So about a month ago I went to town on it. Dramatic changes can be made with the right chemicals, tools and hard work. If you think you need a big extractor or expensive boutique chemicals to get great results, you'll definitely want to watch this. You can go right now to Home Depot and pick up some Folex and Wal-Mart to pick up a LGM. Any carpet brush will do. If you don't make the big bucks, don't worry, you don't need to!
