Using degreaser to remove wax

I am fitting some rubbing strips to the doors on my Alfa this evening.

The doors have about 3-4 coats of blitz on them, and 2 coats of autoglym super resin under that. I am wondering what is the best thing to use to strip this off. I was told engine degreaser would work well. I also heard Tar Remover would be good also.

Any ideas ?

thx

Thanks.

Just found out that Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover is supposed to be safe on paintwork, but removes grease and wax.

Might give that a try.

Yesterday I tried to dawn wash my car which is protected by AG SRP and EGP. It seems that EGP is very strongly bonded onto the paint surface. Then I apply AG ITR and it successfully remove all the old wax.
