Hi,

My car is about 3 weeks old, should I use AIO or skip AIO and go directly to SG after washing my car ?

Do AIO contain any abrasive content ?

I used AIO on my MB when it was three weeks old last week. Aio left it slick as glass, but after I applied some SG man did it shine even on my white car, I didnt believe you could get much shine on white, was I wrong. Yes Aio contains some solvents to clean but I would not worry you have about 40 pounds of paunt on your car, just use AIO about twice per year. Did you get your Klasse at your MB dealership?

I used AIO on a new car, it worked well to clean the paint (better than PPCL). I will not make any recommendation either way as I have not tried Klasse without AIO.

AIO definitely has abrasive content, although the bottle says otherwise. I know Intermezzo330I used AIO (and technique, of course ;)) to remove hazing left behind from PPCL. This surprised me as I was under the impression that AIO was more agressive than PPCL, but as said before, proper technique can gain excellent results.

AIO does have some very fine abrasives in it but won't scratch your car. Some folks like to use AIO first, and it is a good way to assure a good prep.

If I am sure my prep is good, like with a clay job and a paint cleanser, then I will skip AIO and go to SG.

Brad sums it up pretty well. I tend to like the way Klasse AIO looks with Klasse SG. I really believe that Klasse SG looks better with Klasse AIO than Klasse SG with Pinnacle PCL. That's just my opinion of course. Laters
