Use a car/dust cover or not??

My car has a dust cover which I plan on using, I think. The car will start clean and be wiped down with FK425 after a drive. If the car is going to sit in the garage for more than 2 or 3 days should I put the cover on it? Part of me says yes to keep it clean and keep the dust, etc., off of it while the other part of me thinks anything resting or pulling on the paint is not a good idea. What about now when the car will go several weeks without being used?

What is recommended?

Thanks.

Yeah...I have cars that sit a lot, hardly driven at all. I used to cover such toys, but now I just let 'em get a little dusty. I *always* ended up marring them and/or having other issues (e.g., dirt from your tires...tire dressing + brake dust on the cover).

If I want to drive such vehicles, I either just drive them dusty (my Autopian Heresy again, huh :o ) or I give them a proper wash.

I might cover something that's gonna sit for a whole winter/etc., but I'd prep it just for that and then I'd leave it alone. No way I'd want to cover a vehicle that gets used now and then.

But hey, that's just me. Actually, I used to use covers a lot but I got tired of the marring.
