UPP vs. others

I've seen that the vast majority uses 4*UPP, and that certainly tells me something. What I'm trying to differentiate is, is this the leader for price point quality or is it actually better in the long run i.e., durability, visual etc. say over Wolfgang's Sealant product. They both appear as the same thing to me in reading their marketing material.
 
I'm a huge fan of both, but I can tell you that there is a big difference between these two products on your car compared to what they say on paper. They are both excellent, but you'll notice the difference. One of the reasons you read so much about UPP is because its been out a few years longer than WG. WG is just about a year old now and not as many people have used it.
 
I really like UPP and I really like WG. Both are excellent sealants.

WG gives me more of a "darkened" look. I guess you could say it's warmer. WG gives me more of a glow.

UPP gives me a more "bright" (clear) look. UPP gives me more of a shine.

I don't think you can go worng with either one.
 
I use both UPP and WG's. I'm going to say the same things as have been said already... I like both and the UPP seems to me to give a more sharp shine and the Wg's more of a softer. warmer look.
 
I dunno about that. I used WG on my white and beige cars and I liked the look better than UPP on the same vehicles. I think they look great no matter what the shade. Its all in the eye of the beer holder. :D

It's all in the prep work. If your paint is clean, swirl free, and polished to perfection... either one of those products will look great. It then becomes a matter of personal preference.
 
By the wolf and howl at the moon baby, that stuff rocks. UPP nah, I like vanilla speks in my icecream only. Is it just me or have others had this issue?
 
My vote goes to UPP, hands down. I dont think WG is anywhere near UPP in the durability dept. As for visual differences, none that I noticed....
