Uplifting Detail

Here is a pic of a 1931 Model "A" Ford I detailed today. I have a renewed respect for Ford products after working on this car, made 30 years before I was born. The parts are simple yet precise. Mechanical parts fit perfectly. The car was on a lift and the owner wanted the under carriage spotless. I might put a lift in my shop, makes detailing easier on the old bones.

after I detail EVERYTHING else with my car, how would I go about cleaning the underbody? (not to say it is not importent)

I'd wager the majority of Autopians would say that is even cooler than the '69 Dodge Dart Swinger I detailed on Saturday! Really neat car too! The oldest one I have detailed is a 1948 Chevy Coupe that was tubbed, etc; definitely not original like the one you did. I prefer original when it comes to older cars.

Got any more pics?

Oh, wow! Gorgeous car, and looks like you got her shining beautifully. Love that photograph of (you?) working on the undercarriage -- great piece of photography! :up
