Updated the inside of my van

So I’ve been slacking on posting any work lately, business is crazy busy. I have had my van for about 10 months and last weekend I decided to change up the inside to better accommodate my process.

I use to have a 100-gallon tank, I didn’t like the way it looked and to be honest I do NOT need to haul that much water anymore. So I decided to downsize the tank and change the layout.

Here is what it looked like.

Don’t get me wrong, it worked great, but the water pump leaked a little bit and the hose reel wasn’t in the most optimal position.

So I ordered the 60-gallon tank and bought a better water pump. Here are the finished results.

Still got the bottles on the back doors, but now they are labeled.

Passenger’s side: the hose that is hung up is for filling buckets, it’s hooked up the water pump and has a shutoff valve on it so there’s no hooking up and unhooking every time I need to fill a bucket.

All in all it works great. I wired in a switched and mounted it on the right-hand door jamb area (you can see it in the pic of the pressure washer). There’s no leaks, the water pump is silent and actually kicks off when water is not flowing when the switch is on (like when I’m not squeezing the pressure washer trigger).

Thanks for viewing!

Looks great Kody, especially digging the shadow board. I did have a couple of questions for you regarding your switch in pressure washers. If you recall, I had asked you a while back how you were liking the AR610 since I wanted to replace my AR112 eventually. Now it looks like you've gone to the 112. Did the 610 cause problems for you? And since the 112 has significantly lower GPMs than the 610, have you seen a decrease in output from your foam cannon? Sorry for the jack, but I'm looking at finally getting the 610 this month and I'm curious why you switched and what differences you've noticed. TIA

Looks much better! Now just switch to the Garry Dean Wash Method and you can remove the new tank... Bahahahahahahahahah!

Thanks Garry - but I already switched to the GDWM. I still utilize the pressure washer/tank for wheels/tires/wells and to pre-rinse nasty cars. Your wash method coupled with ONR played a key role in reducing the tank size. One of these days I'll try your IUDJ.
