Hey folks, I am still using the same layer of #16 as I was 2 months ago and its still going strong considering the weather, hail, sleet, snow and then some!!

Heres a few pics of the beading, was trying to get it just right, but I have a smaller canon IXUS and my dad has the EOS digi, ill try and get pics from that as they are much better quality, but here's a little taster for now!!

Notice the dirty mark, the car hasn't been washed and its too cold to do it today. But it still looks pretty good.

Hi JJ_

Do you find that cold, wet winter weather is worse for the durability of waxes and sealants than hot summer conditions? We seem to have missed out on the worst of the weather in tropical Wolverhampton :D but I understand you've been having it quite bad in Scotland.

Nice car by the way, which engine is it?

Yep deffo starting to lose its protective properties. Although it has had A LOT to put up with.

I think it really re assures me that #16 is very durable.

I definetley feel that the druability of wax/sealants depend on a few factors and application in cold damp conditions is one of many. I do feel that surface preperation is just as important. If the surface is not properly prep'd then the durability of the wax is greatly reduced.

I plan on re newing my protection next saturday. It will be re-clayed, #80, then some VM, EX-P*2 and then topped with some nattys. Just to give it a little more protection on top of ex-p.

For the show season, i will just keep to ex-p instead of nattys as I want loads of flake!!
