Unwanted hyperlinks!?!?!?!

Is anyone else experiencing hyperlinks being added to your posts and in other peoples' posts?? It seems like words are being chosen at random and being turned into a "search" link



It's driving me nuts

You've got spyware! Get Spybot Search & Destroy or AdAware and scan your computer.

Don't know how you got linked to that page, and going just by what I can see.. you have spyware.

That happened to me last year when I was on my parents' (read: 18 yo sister's) computer. I ran Adaware/AVG/and Spybot and got rid of it.



Somebody actually takes time out of their day to do that to your computer. That's the obnoxious part.

I talked to the wife, (she went to Arizona for a funeral last Wednesday) apparently she does an Ad/Spyware check daily. The husband is always the last to know



She had me run a scan from her name and I came up with over 430 'alerts' for Ad/Spyware. She told me how to get started, but said she would take over the clean out when she gets home tonight. It seems like I did something beause I don't seem to be gettng the mystery links...popups on the other hand...
