Clay with Ultima Clay

Dry

Polish with Optimum Polish via PC and Lake Country White Polishing Pad

Apply trim and tire sealant to rims and tires, rear bumper trim

Looks great josh!

How did the stereo turn out? I havent heard from you on that in a while.

Thanks Brandon, I haven't bough a head unit yet but I do have the adapter I need for when I do finally purchase one. With school coming up I need to start saving my pennies for books and my laptop :( Still enjoying the speakers/sub though, the speakers are unbelievable!

Ok good, last I heard you were having trouble and I didnt want anything I recomended to give you trouble.

Glad you are enjoying it, was kinda fun for me to diagnose some problems.

Car looks great too!!!!

The clay bar thing was very...odd? In my opinion it doesn't really grab the contaminants it pushes them around. I wash my car 1 or 2 times a week, I think I would be terrified to use this thing on a neglected vehicle.

I don't think I will be re-ordering the Clay.

How did you find the other products, the paint guard and the trim sealant?

I don't want to give my final opinion yet as I have not seen these products in the sun yet but so far the Paint Guard has yet to impress me, I have yielded similar results with Opti-Seal.

As for the trim sealant, I put two coats on my tires and there is still no gloss what so ever, they are just black. Kinda disappointing in my opinion. While some people may like this, with a white car I need to have my tires and trim stand out for the contrast against the white paint. Unfortunately; in cloudy weather that is not the case...but the sun shall show me tomorrow! :)

I guess I will have to see what the car looks like tomorrow in the sun. Also, maybe I should reserve my final opinion until I have a chance to try it on a colored vehicle. Tomorrow I will do some panels of my sisters metallic black paint and take some before/after pictures for you guys.

To anyone who thinks I am out to bash these products, trust me I *want* to like these products after shelling out the cash so stay tuned for further updates on my opinion.

I see nothing revolutionary...

I'm with you so far. Even if the durability is great I don't see Autopians buying this for their personal use since we all detail our cars so frequently...and we can get the same look with much more affordable products.

I don't feel like re-washing my sisters car and wasting my products on it so I will be calling up a buddy and seeing if he wants to donate his car for testing. I will continue to watch the durability and see how clean the car stays and maintainence washes.

I'm still wanting to see how this product is going to look on a nice dark or metallic color.

Also glad I ordered the products and now today I get the savebig coupon in my email :hairpull
