Ultima Elastrofoam Paint Cleaning System - Any Input?

Hey Guys,

I just received my order and in it has the Ultima Elastrofoam kit. I`ve never used anything other then clay. So i bought this out of curiosity. I tried searching it up just now on here but most of the things i were finding were from 2012 and such. So anyone that has used this have any input?

I have the block. Overal they are very similar to the "clay blocks". In my experience it is more aggresive than regular clay. When used on my Acura there was considerable marring even after breaking it in on the glass as directed. But on my Vw there was no marring as the paint is much harder. So it really depends on the paint and the amount of pressure and lube you use. I reall y do like it as its easier to grip and hold compared to clay and it is faster and easier to clean. And since I usually plan on at least a minor polish after I am fine with the minor marring. After I ran out of the Ultima lube I started using either UWWP+ or ONR as my lube mixture.
 
I`ve been using it for 9 years and don`t have any complaints about it. I don`t notice any marring either on my 2008 Mustang but I also do a light polish afterwards. The one thing that I really like about it is that if I drop it (as I do several times a sessions) all I need to do is to rinse it off. :)
