Tyres

Well here's the problem, i have sweet f all tread left on the coupe's tyres and looking for some good tyres. I am willing to spen about £100-£120 per corner.

I done a search on mytyres.co.uk

It came back with the usual Goodyear f1's, Continental sportcontact, Michilen pilot sport and michilen pilot exalto.

Now i only have ever used kuhmo's exsta's and toyo proxies. Kuhmo's in my opinion were utter pants. And i would never touch them again. The toyo's were brill, but dont seem to be an option from the website. O and the also need to be high speed rating. Not that ill be going fast but i just want it.

The profile of the tyres i need are 215/40/17

Has anyone had any run ins with the makes and also feel free to add to the list.

I want something pretty grippy too Thank u !!!

~One mans opinion / observations~

I’m a fan of Michelin tyres (every car I’ve had when the tryes require changed I buy Michelin), Pilot’s fitted to the jag. My previous ‘sports’ tyre was Pirreli.

~Hope this helps~

i like bridgestone's potenza line-up, preferbly the 750s (here in the US) or the s-03 pole positions. i had a set of the potenza 730s on my old mustang, and those were great and responsive because i swapped those tires out for my old set of BF Goodrich's Comp T/A HR4s, and it felt the car didn't want to turn as quickly.

plus as my friend puts it: Bridgestone send 15 of their engineers to work with Michael Schumacher. 15 engineers for that one driver!!!! :xyxthumbs
