Two years cancer free

Two years cancer free…yesterday I took my daughter for her bi-annual blood work. Of course we had to, :kneel , worry and sweat all night wondering what the results were, and this morning we received the call from the doctor that her blood work is still clean. :jump
I thought I would share this good new with my friends, many who have had my daughter in their daily prayers for a very long time. As every year passes the chances of the cancer returning diminishes and gives us hope that she will grow up and have a healthy and normal life. Her check-ups will continue for the rest of her life, as there are no guarantees for her or anyone else who is a cancer survivor. Thanks again to all who have been following our fight against cancer for the past 2 1/2 years.:)

That is great news Steve. I am so happy for you. Your family has been through a lot and you deserve good things.

I was waiting for the update this year! Glad that the update is as it is. Here's for 70 or 80 more with the same results!! :beer

Words probably can't describe the joy and relief your family is feeling.

It really does make you stop and think about how fortunate you are to have a happy & healthy child.

You're a very good person Steve, and I'm glad to see things headed in the right direction.

Thanks Everyone and if i tend to get moody a few times a year it's usually around the time we have testing (blood, ct-scans, mri) ..these are stressfull times around here and only a few people know that it is going on...thanks for putting up with me during those times;)

I can't think of any news that a parent would rather hear than "Your child is getting better / healing / positive test results / in remission ..... ".

When the little people are hurtin', nothing else matters and this is what makes good news about their condition so exhilarating.

She's in my prayers Steve, in my prayers.
