Twilight Zone

I was Googling Charlie's Soap for some more info, and got into some laundry forum...it was like being on Autopia...except they were talking about water hardness, pH, mixing products, buying chemicals from lab supply stores to use, etc. They have their own acronyms, manufacturers chiming in, etc., and these were mostly housewives...complaining about stains from their husband's deodorant and hubby not liking the smell of this product or that, and talking about rinse cycle dynamics. Scary!

Hmm..I wonder if Melaleuca Mela Power is discussed there. There's quite a variety of non mainstream,"enthusiast" detergent products out there with claims like terrific for the environment, no phosphates, clothes never age if used, outperforms all the leading brands, etc.

You are about to enter another dimension. A dimension not only of soap and suds, but of front loading washers with dual rinse cycles. A journey into a wondrous land of downy softness. Next stop, The Laundry Zone.

I did read about the Charlie's Soap laundry detergent products there and the powder detergent just might be the ideal thing for Weathershield car covers. The cleaning instructions state to use powder only when washing at home. According to the Charlies' rep, their powder is great for high tech, weatherproof fabrics.
