Turtle Wax Trim Restorer staying very tacky :(

Any ideas how to get Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Graphene Acrylic Trim Restorer to dry properly?

I cleaned the rubber and hard plastic trim on my car, let it dry for a few hours and in the shade applied a couple light coats of the TW restorer, It seemed to dry fine, about 10min between coats. I was literally using drops to apply it so don't think I put it on thick. Next day in the sun its sticky and very tacky still.

Short of stripping it off I dunno what to do. I tried dry buffing it to no avail. Tried another super light coat didn't help. It looks good but stuff is sticking to it :(

Any tips or tricks would be great, thanks!
 
I would try washing the trim and kind of being aggressive with your wash mitt.

I don’t know as I have not used this product but I find that sometimes the trim products tend to need a good wash and possibly a reapplication until they are fully soaked in. Some trim products are just sticky feeling as well. I have and tended to stick with Solution Finish, and some of the old trim dressings. I don’t like trim coatings long term

I did an ONR rinseless wash and it did nothing but clean the stuff stuck to it. I didn't think of doing a full hands on wash as I just polished it last week and don't like going to hard on cleaning if I can, and figured it might muck up my wash mitt...

I was tempted to pickup some Tarminator, but thought I go light first and tried some diluted alcohol/water and lightly buffed it and the stickiness slowly went away mostly. I had to scrub the rubber window trim some to get it pretty dry, but the plastic trim I only had to do it lightly. Took a few hours but good news other then one spot on the cowl where I went a bit aggressive it didnt streak up and still seems protected at least?!

Im going to let it dry in the sun a bit and see how it is. *crosses fingers*

Ugh, this Turtle Wax Trim Restorer water spotted like mad after this first wash. Dunno if its because I knocked it back with the ISA/water or not but I had to wipe it a fair bit with 303 to try and get rid of some of it. I have no good luck at all, lol... :(
 
I have a Chevy Impala that has a black "rubber" strip along the bottom of the body's rear end and wraps around behind rear tires. Problems I typically have with that piece are dust collection and streaking. Products I have tried on this rubber strip include Sonus Trim and Motor Kote, APC. Solution Finish, Duragloss Trim Dressing, tire dressings, spray waxes, and quick detailers. The product that has worked best for me, so far, is Meguiar's Cleaner Wax. Left no streaks. Dried. Required a little hand buffing. Cheap at Walmart.
