The owner of this vehicle was very unimpressed with the dealership's $1800 prep package. Yes, I said $1800. The package included dealer installed swirls and the sloppiest leather conditioning you'll ever see. The owner argued the price out of the purchase agreement before bringing the car home. Fast forward 300 miles and ts|s Detailing was called in to rescue the new muscle car. The process included:
degreasing foam wash
two-step paint correction
Opticoating, glaze and wax
interior was degreased of the shoddy conditioner application then properly dressed
carpets were vacuumed and treated with fabric guard
total time involved: 13 hours over two days
Above: horribly applied conditioner
Below: interior cleaned with Megs APC and Adams Leather cleaner, conditioned plastic with 303, leather with Adam's conditioner and carpets with PRO Fabric Guard.
Above: using a blower attachment on my Rigid vac to blast water out of crevices.
Below: before/after of swirls in paint, attacked the whole car with Flex 3401 using Hydrotech cyan/M105 and Hydrotech tangerine/M205.
It was starting to snow, so I couldn't do any outside shots, Poorboys Blackhole Glaze topped with Blackfire Midnight Sun wax. Opticoated the rims and hood.
I ripped this out before I left:
