Well guys, this morning i got a call from a good friend of mine who drove by my house and he said it looked like my window had been busted out. So i run downstairs and sure enough, my window is busted out, my outer window seal and door skin are all pulled back and dented and stretched etc. I go to look inside and they nabbed my Kenwood CD player and my Cobra CB Radio. Luckily, they didn't take my Edge COMP which was Velcroed to the bottom right corner of my CB. They just ripped it off the CB.
I then had people start calling me saying they saw a "friend" of mines truck go peelling out of my alley. I also heard that 2 of my other friends who also know this person saw or heard his truck at their houses as well. Then, here comes the fishy part, 50 min after i found out about this the person that we think did this we will call him Bob., calls the person that told me my truck was busted into and bob asks my friend "So i heard Zach's truck got broken into last night" in a kinda laughy joking, who gives a $hit tone of voice. That was really fishy. Then, shortly after, Bobs dad calls myself and the 2 other guys who saw and heard the truck plus my friends sister who told me about my truck and another friend of mine and starts to say that the truck they saw him in wasn't in the area and at 9pm bob wasn't even in this area. Well 9pm and 1am when i got broken into are 4 hrs apart. Then his dad goes on to say that the 2 other friends that saw and heard bobs truck by their house last night said that those 2 friends are the ones to look out for because they're trouble...... Well ive known both of those guys longer than bob and his family. My other 2 friends he speaks about used to live at bobs house and his dad says they always stole stuff that they didn't steal and is trying to poke them with money that bobs dad doesn't deserve or need. Anyway, Everyone that ive talked to and even some others are all saying that it was more than likely Bob.
I will keep everyone updated as i find out other stuff. I reported the break in right after i found out about it and have already went to my insurance company and have gone to get estimates to fix my FUBARd door. I will get some pictures of the damage and empty stereo holes and such in my truck.
The only upside to this is that if i end up getting a new door my rust is taken care of.
So what would you guys do in this situation with my other friends and "bob"??
