Trouble with Tacscar Mits?

I just used my first Tacscar Cotton wash mit today. When I got done washing I noticed black specs all over the whole mit. I washed the mit twice with Liguid Tide. No help! The black specs were both inside and outside the mit. Has anyone else had this problem with Tascar mits. I bought these mits becuase I heard they were the best. Now I'm concerned about swirl marks and scratches.
 
according to CMA there has been a defective shipment of 100% cotton chenille mitts. Those black specks are cotton seeds. They can cause scratching so CMA has stopped selling them because of customer complaints. They are looking at other options.

Are Tacscar mitts the same as CMA?



If so, I wonder why they continue to sell them if there is a problem?
 
Yes, the mitts from TACS are the same as the ones CMA sells. The mitts are made by S.M. Arnold. If you have a problem with the mitt contact Tim, I am sure he will make things right. Here is his e-mail [email protected]
 
I sent DK a email to find out about the Viking mitts. To bad about the Tacscar mitts.......... I really love the size and the deep nap.
