Tried some new stuff out this weekend

I detailed my wife's car today, and tried some new things I got from PAC....

First...I used Amazing Roloff on the wheels, tires, and wheelwells. This stuff worked awesome.

Secondly, the new burgundy Meguiar's 2.0 pad worked well with the Flex, along with the new M105 to remove some defects I would ordinarily pull the rotary out to handle.

I then used this little brush for the interior...

The pointy rubber end worked really well for getting some gunk out of crevaces.

I also used this soap with my Gilmour foam gun...

I could not believe the suds and lubricity of this stuff. After I washed and rinsed the car, I dialed the gun down to a low setting, refoamed the car and used it as lube for claying the car.

Lastly, I used this stuff (which didn't come from PAC) on her cloth interior. I can get this stuff for under $3 a can, and haven't found anything that cleans carpets, headliers, and cloth seats as well as it can...

O'Reilly's Auto Parts usually has Tuff Stuff for around $3.50 per can. I've never tried it, but it sounds like you really like it. I may give it a shot.:D

Looks like you had a good day of detailing!

Yesterday I detailed a Dodge Dakota Quad cab with 160,000 miles, that hadn't been cleaned (inside or out) in over 3 years for a client. After that beast, my wife's 2008 Lancer was a piece of cake today, and a nice, relaxing detail.

I agree about the Tuff Stuff...I have several cans in my cabinet and it works extremely well.
It would have been nice to see some pictures of your finished product!
